Crafty Tuesday

At first, I didn’t think I had anything for Crafty Tuesday, but after reading Carrie’s post, I realized that I can share some Christmas craftiness.

Here are two of the ornaments I made. I make one for grandparents, great grandparents, aunts and uncles every year. The photo washes them out a little and you can’t tell that I used glitter paper on them (if you click on the picture to see it larger, you can see a little bit more of the glitter paper, especially on the red one). They look pretty cool with the glitter paper, but it also made them a little more expensive to make. I also made a dark green version, but didn’t have any left for this picture.

Here are a couple of the calendar tops I was working so fervently on the few weeks before Christmas. I made a total of seven calendars. Only one calendar is an exact copy of another, so six different calendars, but many of the months share the same pictures, so they are similar.

January (this one came from my parent’s calendar)

February (several different calendars shared this collage)

April (from my brother’s calendar)

September (all the calendars have this page)

October (came from my maternal grandma’s calendar)

November (from my mom’s calendar)

December (from my in-law’s calendar)

I’m hoping to start some scrapbooking this week, or maybe next, depending on time. If I don’t get to scrap, maybe I’ll share a few more calendars next week. Be sure to check out Barely Controlled Chaos for more craftiness .

those ornamnets are really cute, I’ll have to do that for everyone next year. But the calendar pages - wow! I can’t believe you do it different for every family. That’s a lot of work, but SO cute!
